59Media conducted a comprehensive review and communications audit across the company which included a detailed strategic plan designed to raise awareness of Trusted Media Brands, and its executive leadership team.

 

The one year plus program included pursuing high profile media opportunities for C-suite executives with top-level digital, business and trade media and conferences; executive speech writing and presentations; leveraging data and research to position company as digital media innovators; executive media training and message building; managing external agencies, and rebuilding internal communications staffing.

Salon Media Group is the owner of Salon.com, which covers breaking news, politics, culture, technology, and entertainment through investigative reporting, fearless commentary and criticism, and provocative personal essays. Salon.com has been a leader in online media since the dawn of the digital age and has bureaus in San Francisco, New York City, London, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.

59Media worked with Salon’s CEO and senior leadership team to raise visibility for Salon with key business, digital and marketing trade media regarding the company’s turnaround efforts as well its launch of new products such as its live event Salon Stage and Salon Talks series with authors, experts, and artists; its new paid digital app offering; the introduction of a cryptocurrency pilot project; and, its expanded video products.

59Media conducted an extensive social media audit for W & M to determine opportunities for the company to expand its profile with both existing and new clients. Asa result of this audit and strategic recommendations, 59Media provided W & M’s senior leadership team with training on effective ways to improve their social media profiles; created a new social media presence for the company on platforms including LinkedIn and Twitter; developed an new audio learning product for clients to help their teams improve performance; and served as the company’s social media strategist.

Kalmbach Media is a leading independent media company that provides ideas and inspiration to avid hobbyists, enthusiasts and citizen scientists through its multichannel brands including Astronomy, Discover, Bead&Button, FineScale Modeler, Garden Railways, Scale Auto, Classic Toy Trains, Model Railroader, Model Railroader Video Plus, Trains, Classic Trains, and American Snowmobiler.

MPA – Association of Magazine Media is the industry trade organization representing the magazine media business. Its membership includes the most recognized magazine media companies such as Meredith Corporation, Hearst, Conde Nast, Trusted Media Brands, and Bonnier among others. 

 

59Media was retained by the MPA to provide communications support for the launch of the industry’s Magazine Media - Better. Believe It marketing campaign. Activities included media outreach with national business and trade media; messaging; news release and media documents (FAQ’s, etc.); executive writing; and event coordination.
